Exciting opportunity for an Salon assistant /apprenticeship if wanted.

​

Fuchsia is on the hunt for our next super star salon assistant and if you want to train to become a hairdresser, we can offer you an apprenticeship.

NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED! We will train and support you through all aspects of what’s needed to help assist the salon. And over time of the apprenticeship, train you to become a qualified TOP stylist.

The hours and days are varied between Monday – Saturday including late nights and extra training nights.

Salon assistant roles include but not limited to:
 

  • Assisting stylists including washing hair, colour removals, cleaning equipment, drying hair, applying toners and treatments

  • Greeting clients

  • Making coffee /teas

  • Daily Cleaning

  • Laundry

  • Reception duties including taking bookings, checking clients out and telephone calls

  • The role will develop into more technical skills as your apprenticeship does.

We have a rare opening for an Intermediate or Senior Hairdresser to join our fun loving ‘Team Fuchsia’.

 

Along with being part of a team who inspire and help each other you can have:
 

  • Full time or part time with current Fuchsia clients in our busy in demand salon
     

  • Earn up to 45% commission - $40-$50 per hour
